Working together

This post is inspired by Game Theory (19:14) from Gary Stevenson

Interesting about Garys proposed solution to the dilemma of people being selfish, leading their children and grad children into poverty is, wether a countries culture invites the ubiquitous selfishness in every person to manifest (18:00) — or not! However, Garys conclusion is to educate everyone about the causalities between selfishness and its many symptoms.

A deeper, more integrated approach to actually manifest this change is the invention and propagation of a new culture through said society. Compared to Garys approach of delivering trasient knowledge from above, the act of cultivating offers others an invitation to join and participate in the change.

Practically speaking, culture addresses us. Our way of Being.

  1. I contemplate and pray for my own generocity and a kind heart.
  2. Me inviting my closest friends and family for collective generosity.
    • e.g. I am always talking selfishly about my problems to solve them. Instead we cultivate reflecting and talking positively about others and attending deeper topics.
  3. I leave the selfies and complainers who do not want to be part of the change.
