With EDEN SURF, we are building on the previous Surf Camps to seek out new life with a fresh perspective and a hopeful outlook for the future.

For the past 10 years, Surf Church Porto has been inviting people to its amazing surf camps in Esmoriz. As friends and partners of the church, we have decided to organize the second camp.

Inspired by Johannes Hartl’s book “Eden Culture”, which focuses on beauty, community, and meaning, we decided to name the camp EDEN SURF.

We hope to experience a bit of paradise in Esmoriz and leave the camp strengthened and encouraged to shape the future with hope and peace in our hearts.

In addition to surfing, relaxation, and enjoying Portuguese cuisine, we will listen to inspiring talks, engage in meaningful discussions, and reflect on important questions. We will also enjoy moments of silence, collaborate on creative mini-projects, and eagerly anticipate discovering the hidden talents you bring to the camp!

Who we are

Even though we love surfing, we are in no way professionals who are able to give surf lessons. You will get the basics. Therefore the camp is for surfing, as we provide all necessary equipment and drive together to the beaches where we have a lot of fun & surf.

FAQs

From 0 to 10, how professional is this Surf Camp?

It is not a surf school camp where you have professional trainers and teachers. We work on that by trying to get our pro-friends to join the camp and offer the beginners and intermediates some instructions. However, as it’s the first camp we can only ensure basic intructions. It’s still going to be amazing, though. 😊

Who of Surf Church Porto will be with us?

Samuel is the Pastor of Surf Church Porto and unfortunately not able to do the second Surf Camp in Ezmoris this year. That’s the reason we jumped in and brought some EDEN CULTURE to the table. Woop! The rest of the Crew is invited and we are looking forward for hosting the musicians and pro surfers.

Will Johannes Hartl join the Camp?

We hope for that, but Johannes has his holidays for this year probably already planned — lets see. We will ask him.

How to save 50€ on the price of EDEN SURF?

We offer 50€ (20€ wetsuit + 30€ surf board) discount if you bring your own surf equipment.

How are we accomodated?

First three days we accomodate ourselfes in Porto. On monday we drive to CBE in Ezmoriz. Men and women have each one or two dorms. Married couples can upgrade to a nice double bungalow (+50€/person/week).
